v0.3.1 micro patch


A very small patch, kind of disconcerting for the amount of time it took. However, it is proof that the project is alive. Though, that is what everyone says isn't it? Small change log of the changes.


New optional rules added.

The Biological Templates from the optional rules section are added to the LCP file.  (Was missing from the last one so it was added as more of a formality to help out GMs)

Minor bug fixes. (Very small problem that was occurring within the LCP file.)

Minor changes in wording for some of the fluff sections. (Very minor lore changes for Yoichi and Naga, along with some fixed wording.)

Blaster slight effect change: Blaster 2 now works with any Blast or burst generated by a weapon even if it is not explicitly a blast/burst weapon. And Fuck you in particular has a change to be easier to use. (Just some QoL changes to make the ability easier to use.)

Mastermind Nerf: you now generate mastermind dice at the end of your turn, and only generate them if you targeted an ally and didn’t attack or force any saves. (It was coming across as too powerful in my limited testing, so I went ahead and made a small nerf)

Scoundrel Buff: Sucker Punch is now a Free Action, and the impaired applies to the save as it is applied before the save happens. (My small amount of testing showed Sucker Punch as holding the talent tree back and making it worse than Pankrati and its Charge action.)

Polyphemus text update: hyperkinetic rifle. (Rewrite of the flavor text to read more like SSC)

Blink Chain Buff: SP cost reduced to 2. (Overall buff to feel less punishing overall)

Yoichi Rework
Mech description -> Fluff change. (Minor fluff fix)
Artillery Grenades -> Removed. (They just seemed worse than hex grenades in builds that wanted them and were just not very interesting for players when giving feedback.)
Clustershot Micro-missiles - Moved to LL1. (Replacing where artillery grenades were and giving players an easy dip option for a strong alternative to GMS Missile Rack.)
Exterior Mounted Missile Launchers - Fluff change (Just some small grammer fixes mostly)
Blinkspace Bunker Buster - Added. (Giving players a new use for the heavy mount and giving a viable if limited option for hitting enemies which are cached away in closed off spaces along with a solid, long range, large AOE option.)
Battlegroup Razorback Missiles - Reworked, no longer a weapon, instead a system with a similar effect. (Being a superheavy weapon was just a bit too much for the neat secondary effect. While this does remove the fun interaction with the blaster talent, it instead has become an excellent build around controller option. I personally recommend it along with some goblin licenses.)
Erlang-class NHP - Removed
Metafold Torpedoes- Added. (The new superheavy limited option, it boasts a suitable increase in power in exchange for being more difficult to set up. It also acts as a safety net with an always online skirmish version if you run out of limited shots).

I hope you'll enjoy these updates. I'm hoping to get into some of the expansive lore of the setting, before hopefully put out more mechs to try out in the 0.4.0 update. Additionally, thanks again to my wonderful artist RrttOne on twitter for their excellent work on the Yochi frame.
